Patricija, originally from Slovenia, but currently at London Uni, on going out with the trendy crowd…
London. Uni. Long classes and even longer breaks. Thinking of going out tonight, but not entirely sure yet, as it is raining and I don’t really want my new shoes to be destroyed by the bad weather. I’ll decide later…
Home. Facebook. Got an invite from a friend saying there is a really great party going on in Shoreditch, and it usually consists of lots and lots of fashion people. It is THE place to be right now and looking at the party photos, people really put a lot of effort into their appearance there. So, if I go, what will I wear?! It is 5pm right now, if the party starts at 10pm I have more than enough time to get ready. I think I might even take a nap and skip Uni work for today and do it all tomorrow. So, I wake up at 6pm, take a shower and wash my hair, 6.40pm paint my nails, 7pm open the closet and stare in it for about 40 minutes (no matter how full it is, I NEVER know what to wear and always complain I have NOTHING to wear) and place 3 outfits on the bed. Try all of them on and see how well they fit with my new shoes. First outfit – ergh my legs look enormous in this skirt. Second outfit – looks alright, but my new shoes don’t really go well with it. Third outfit – pure perfection AND goes well with my shoes. Oh God, I need a new bag. ANYWAY, I am off to party and leaving my mind at home. Let’s let anything happen.
Well it is everything I expected it to be, and I with my black lipstick and black lace dress look extremely normal in this crowd (next time I will dare more!), but I am glad I’m hanging out with my new Uni friends, fun times. After a few jack-colas I hear two of my friends starting to whisper: “is that Alexander Wang?”… Oh yes, and guess who is going to the after party? You’re right! Anything just happened, when you least expect.

You are so lucky! I seem to have the same problem, I’m always buying clothes, my wardrobe does not close, yet whenever it’s time to go out, I never have anything to wear
